Iraqi Origin Light, Medium, and Heavy Crude Oil:

1. Submit LOI and PO

   • Well-known companies are exempt from submitting KYC.

2. Receive Documentation

   • Seller issues the Commercial Invoice (CI) and a recap sheet outlining key terms.

3. Refinery Sales Manager Communication

   • The Refinery Sales Manager communicates directly with the Buyer’s Purchasing Manager to:
     • Confirm the order and API specifications.
     • Provide a detailed product specification sheet.
     • Arrange for a sample to be delivered to the buyer's designated location for verification.
     • Facilitate arrangements for the Buyer to visit the refinery if desired.

4. Confirm and Verify

   • Buyer signs the CI upon sample approval and verification of API specs.

5. Schedule Delivery

   • Finalize the delivery schedule and organize logistics, including laycan arrangements for FOB or CFR shipments.

6. Load and Payment

   • Load the ship and make payment against the Bill of Lading (B/L).
   • For deferred payments (e.g., post-departure or within 15 days), a financial instrument must be provided.
